Membership is renewable (and renewal fees applicable) on 1st April of every year regardless of when you first joined. Membership is subject to approval and not a guarantee. As a club we have a ethos where the club needs to right for you and vice versa. e offer a 28 day grace period for you to try the club out either by attending club nights and/or access to our members only online group.
If you are a new runner and join for the first time from January to March, the registration fee also covers the affiliation year (You basically get 15 months for price of 12 months), This does not apply for lapsed athletes or those changing clubs.
You can read about becoming a registered athlete on the England Athletics website.
You are not expected to join the club to come and try a training session BUT you must contact us in advance via our contact page or social media before turning up. At our club nights we have a minimum requirement that all runners can already run 10K in under 70 minutes.
It is also the clubs responsibility to make sure you are fit to run and we need to be made aware in advance of any medical issues you may have. Our runners safety is our priority.
* We do allow 14-17 year olds to join but they must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on all club sessions.
