Winter Handicap Race #1

Well done to everyone who raced last night, 15 people race and we had a great team of marshalls helping out. Big thank you to them. Despite the unplanned concert outside our start point it went pretty much to plan. Always room for improvement so any feedback please let me know.
With any handicap race some times the handicaps are way out, the aim is for everyone to be within seconds of their predicted time, it will be easier next time as will adjust the times accordingly. What was great was the race to the finish with most runners all within a 3 minute window and some very close battles. In the end the first person back and winner of our first ever event was Samantha Middleton. The fastest lady on the night setting the course record was Molly Hayes in 19:35 and fastest male despite acting as sweeper was David Napier in 18:49.

Race #1

The results are broken down to your official time as it goes off when race started at 19:00.
In next column is your handicap. Then in next is your actual time this is your elapsed time minus your handicap time, gives you your actual time.

Then we take away your predited time away from your actual time and you either went quicker or slower. Those with in a few seconds ran closest to their predicted time with Heather Lindley running 1s off her predicted time.

Those with green times will see this added to their handicap time for next race. Those with red times will have this deducted from their handicap next time.
